1. Where is your exact location?

We are conveniently located in Purok 2, Brgy. Gawi, Oslob, Cebu—along the national highway. Our resort is ideally situated just 20–30 minutes away from popular attractions such as the whale shark watching site, Sumilon Island White Sand Bar, and Tumalog Falls.

2. How do I make a reservation?

To make a reservation, please click here.

Enter the details of your stay and the type of accommodation you prefer.

Next, please provide your name and contact details. Then, provide your valid ID and any special requests you may have.

Once your reservation details are submitted, you will receive a notification from our reservation office to confirm your booking, typically within 24 hours, along with instructions for making a down payment.

To secure your booking, only 50% of the total amount is needed as a down payment.

The remaining balance shall be paid upon check-in, along with a refundable incidental deposit of ₱2,000 per night, per room.

3. What are the check-in and checkout times?

Check-in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 1:00 PM. Strictly no late checkout.

Reminders will be sent by 12:30 PM by our resort staff.

4. Do you offer early check-in or late checkout options?
Serene Oasis does not offer early check-in or late checkout. With only 14 rooms and high occupancy, our housekeeping staff requires sufficient time (3 hours) to thoroughly clean, sanitize, and disinfect rooms between guests, ensuring a welcoming environment. This policy also allows guests visiting the whale shark to have time for lunch and changing before checking out.
5. What are the operating hours of the reception area?

Reception is open until 10 PM daily, and late check-in is accepted until 10 PM only.

Bookings not checked in by 10 PM will be considered No Show and are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.

6. What types of accommodations do you offer?
  • Standard Room — good for two with breakfast. Price: ₱2,800.00
  • Deluxe Room — good for two with breakfast. Price: ₱3,800.00
  • Premier Room — good for two with breakfast. Price: ₱4,800.00
  • Family/Barkada Room — good for six persons with breakfast. Price: ₱6,800.00
  • Exclusive Stay — good for a maximum 50 guests. All-in fee: ₱125,000
7. What amenities are included in the room rate?
  • Toiletries, room furnishings, and smart TVs are provided in all rooms.
  • Standard, Deluxe, and Premier Rooms each have a private bathroom, while our three Family/Barkada Rooms have five shared toilet and bath facilities located just behind the rooms, exclusively for the use of guests checked into these rooms.
  • Free use of high-speed internet in the rooms and public areas.
  • Free access to the beach and swimming pool.
  • Guests have access to public areas in the resort, including cliffside lounge areas, gazebos, and cottages.
  • Access to the bar and restaurant.
8. Do you offer day-use packages?
Serene Oasis currently does not have a day-use package. As a small resort with a maximum capacity of 48 guests, our amenities are reserved exclusively for our in-house check-in guests. However, our bar and restaurant remain open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM, and walk-in guests are always welcome.
9. Are pets allowed in the resort? If so, what are the pet policies?
  • Pets must be always well-behaved and under control. Excessive barking, aggression, or any other disruptive behavior is not allowed.
  • Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier when outside the guest's room.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste bags should always be carried.
  • Owners should ensure that their pets do not disturb other guests.
  • Owners are responsible for any damages caused by their pets to the resort property.
10. Is smoking allowed in the premises?
Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided, and failure to comply will result in a fee of Php 5,000.00. Smoking is not allowed in any guest rooms or indoor public areas.
11. Do you have a cancellation policy? If so, what are the terms?
  • Cancellations made 15 days before the stay are non-refundable.
  • One-time rebooking is allowed, with a ₱2,000 fee per room per night, if requested 15 days before the stay.
12. Is there onsite parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available for walk-in diners and bar clients as well as overnight staying guests.
13. What dining options are available at the resort?
Our restaurant and bar are open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 . Last call is also at 9:00 PM.
14. Do you allow guests to bring food and drinks brought from outside? If so, is there a corkage fee?
Corkage fee applies to any food and alcoholic beverages brought into the premises. The following corkage fees are in effect:

  • Food: ₱1,000.00 per item/viand
  • Local beers: ₱2,000.00 per case or ₱100.00 per can/small bottle and ₱200.00 per one liter
  • Wine/Hard Liquor: ₱1,500.00 for 750 ml or ₱2,000.00 for 1 to 2 liters
  • Lechon or Roasted Calf/Beef: ₱3,000.00 per item
  • Soft drinks: ₱1,500.00 per case or Php 100.00 per can/small bottle and ₱200.00 per one liter to two liters.
15. Do you provide shuttle services to nearby attractions or airports?
Click here to view our transportation services. We have an onsite, air-conditioned van for guests who have booked transportation services to the airport, nearby attractions, and any point in Cebu, for a maximum of 8 passengers. Rates vary upon the pick-up and drop-off location.
16. What are the available cellular networks on your resort’s location?
Only Smart and Talk ‘N Text network users enjoy strong cellular networks during their stay here at Serene Oasis.
17. Can the number of guests in one room go beyond the room capacity?

Yes, for selected rooms only. A maximum of one extra person for Deluxe and Premier Rooms is allowed. The charge is ₱1,200 per night, including breakfast.

However, an extra person for Standard and Family/Barkada Rooms is strictly prohibited.
